Hunzeker:

I ENCOURAGE ALL UC APPLICANTS TO ATTEND ONE OF THESE EVENTS. These will offer representatives from most of the UC's.  It is obvious that UC Riverside is the closest opportunity.  Please consider attending.  We will begin our UC applications after these dates.

"UC For You" will be held on October 19 at UC Riverside, October 26 at UC Merced and October 27 at UC Davis. Space is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register early at the "UC For You" web site (ucforyou.ucsc.edu).

Purther:

-For those who did not present this week, be ready to present next week.  Prepare yourself for Purther's 3 questions...

Piggott:

-nada...well, pray that you did well on the test.

Pittman:

-nada...though I recommend you do some practice problems on forces, as in, what forces are acting on an object in certain situations.  

Ortega:

-Add the corrections you made to your writing workshop piece this week to your revision.  FYI, here are the essay prompts for the Common Application, and here is the prompt for the UC application, coming out on October 1 - this Tuesday.

-Cornell notes, and graphic novel groups need to email Ortega their outside source by Monday.
