Social Science: #90 Summary

Next week in Purther's class only, the 9th graders will be presenting to the 12th graders.  Pittman, Piggott and Ortega's classes will function like normal.

Monday: First Block (W) and Third Block (N)*
Tuesday:  First Block (S) and Second Block (W)
Wednesday:  Second Block (N) and Third Block (S)**
Thursday:  1, 2, 3 (Regular Class)
Friday:  4, E, Thanksgiving Party

*During second block (E), we will work on something else.
**During first block (E), we will work on something else.

#90 Summary

By the beginning of the Thursday rotation (November 21st), each Model Assembly group will need to turn in a one-page summary sheet of their bill.  The one-page summary should include the following.  The format and look is up to you, but it is one-page only (can't use the back of the page). I wil give you feedback once you turn it in to me.


Bill Summary
I.  City Information (Essential Information)

II. Problem (Describe the problem you are planning to address)

III. Solution (the bill)
                 A. Bill number*
 B. Title (you can change the name):
                 C. Preamble (one sentence purpose)
 D. Enforcement: Put TBA for now
 E. Funding: Put TBA for now unless it states it in your current bill
 F. Summary of the bill
    •  Ensure text is readable 
    • Understandable for others
    • Make sure you solution represents your party ideology (conservative or liberal).  This is the time to amend your bill. 
 G.  Prediction of Possible Questions

IV. Why should your party support your bill (liberal/conservative justification)? Be specific and use examples.

V. How will this help your constituents?  Be specific and use examples


*Bill Number is H plus the number assigned on your bill.  See the board in Purther's room, I wrote the number next to your bill.
