The Good News: We have several of you ordering your transcirpts from Parchment
The Bad News: You are sending them to yourselves NOT your College. Therefore, you have not met your final deadline.
Instructions:
1. GO TO YOUR ACCOUNT AND LOG IN
2 .CLICK ON "SEND TRANSCRIPT" bar (gold letters in a black rectangle)
3. You will be taken to a page that says: WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR TRANSCRIPTS SENT?
Click on the "Academic Institution" (The graduation hat icon)
Below you will see a search bar.
Type in the name of your institution (the college you are going to attend)
If at that point you are unable to find the school and complete the process go to the top right hand corner of the page and click on the "?" symbol
This will take you to the help page where you will find a video tutorial on how to order transcripts.
If all of this totally confuses you, take the time to get a personal tutorial when you pick up your transcript (if I am available) or ask for Mr. Huang.
I think it's important to note that some colleges require you to send them to their "Office of Admissions" and not directly to the college when you type it in on Parchment (for UCI at least; they mentioned that they didn't receive my transcript because I sent it to "UCI" not "UCI Office of Admissions"–Parchment does note that they sent it though).
ReplyDeleteSo those of you coming on this post should make sure you're sending it to the correct institution by checking your colleges' website, your account on your colleges' websites, or by contacting them if you're having issues.
