9/25-9/26 Homework

"I wrote my password somewhere. It's, like, an abstract number and all of that.  And now I 'member!"
 - Adrian O.

Research Check on Friday

Purther:

-Get ready for Rights presentations!  Here are the requirements.

- Review sweater choices here.

Piggott:

-Get ready for the upcoming test!  You will need to know the 4 Fairness Criteria, vocabulary words, who Mr. Arrow is (what he found, when he found it), and the 4 preferential voting methods.  Refer to this website for all of the information you need.

I dedicate this to math class...

Pittman:

-Complete worksheets 2 and 3, and attempt the AP worksheet.  What makes AP problems challenging is that there are multiple ways of solving them, and you need to draw on multiple lessons, not just one.

Ortega:

-Complete Cornell notes for next discussion.  Graphic novel groups will do them on an outside source (which you need to email to Ortega).  Also, work on writing workshop.  The final draft is due next Wednesday.

Announcements:

-Get your recycling in!  Winning this challenge will earn your house 4 points.

-Donate items for the yard sale.

-Donate gifts for Operation Military Kid.  Talk to Samantha, Jon, Jeremy, Daisy, or Sarah.

-Committee Assignment Summary link here.

- Still need one guy and one girl rep for the house competition at lunch (Wii Boxing).  Tell your ASB rep if interested.

-Young Scholars, classes begin tomorrow!
-5th Annual College Expo & Student Athlete Symposium at the University of LaVerne Saturday October 19th from 11am to 4pm.
